I have been seeking out this one particular tremendously gorgeous no longer manufactured Nikon DC lens f-o-r-e-v-e-r. I recently held my breath and splurged on a copy on ebay but the glass was so filled with dust I had to send it back. NOOOOOO!!!! So close and yet so far.

BUT!!! i just found a used copy at adorama TODAY and immediately threw all financial sanity to the wind and pounced and got it and …….
And????

UWS Afternoon Birthday/Family Celebration with (and for) Grandma

I’ve been photographing this glorious family for several years now. I’ve been privileged to have documented the births of both little boys, numerous birthdays, get togethers, parties and this family never ceases to amaze me. They are hilarious and absolutely wonderful. One outdoor party of theirs even included an ‘all you can eat’ ice cream truck! How they all stay so gorgeous is beyond me. It must be the familial love and amazing senses of humour that keeps them looking so beautiful.

She had me at her shy ‘hi’. Then after about 5 minutes, she’d decided that only I was ‘allowed’ to play with her (an honor of honors to behold) and promptly grabbed my hand and marched me to the playground where we swung on swings (well she did all of the swinging), played on the slides and jungle gyms and ‘discovered’ a ‘secret’ flower garden! Oh not to mention crouch crouch crouching and then tip toe tip toe tip toeing to chase any and every pigeon we could find!

Then back to run and cuddle and more playing!

The absolute BEST way I could imagine spending an afternoon in Park Slope! Have I mentioned how lucky i am? Or how much fun we had????

This uber incredible 3 year old birthday boy was awesome beyond belief. He was OBSESSED with superheroes! He knew every one of their names, powers AND themesongs! Amazing. Everyone had a super great time and moomah was the perfect party host for both the kids and their grownups. Yay birthday parties!
