I was approached by the hilarious and incredibly talented Ms. Z, an extraordinary voice over artist, performer and soon to be PUBLISHED AUTHOR. It’s all incredibly exciting. And, of course, she needed a book jacket photo. But one that captured her spectacular personality as well as her overall awesomeness. She wanted to run the gamut of young to sassy to mature(ish) and, more than anything, FUN. All staying completely true to her ebullient self. And, even though she technically only needed one shot, she now has dozens of shots to use as headshots, publicity shots, website images, for the facebook and beyond. She just has to not change her haircolor this month.

Nicole can cut to the chase like no other and asks the very very very best and most appropriate questions imaginable.

When Nicole asked me to do her shots I was honored and delighted. She was looking for something that genuinely represented herself… which I interpreted as her warmth, intelligence, kindness, trustworthiness and her openness. Done and done.

Look. At. This. Gorgeous. Face! I mean, come on… LOOK AT IT! and, what’s even cooler? is that she SO had the heart and soul and intelligence and pure solid awesomeness to go with it. AND- she took the time to write the following, which just makes her beyond amazing. BEYOND.

You. are. INCREDIBLE. Meredith. Seriously. What the h*ll? My dvd arrived yesterday. I just want you to know that I don’t know how you did it (do it) but these are so amazing. I just can’t believe how beautiful these are. From picture one to the end, they are all 100 percent me. And I don’t think that happens with many photographers. Normally I look at myself in pictures and think, “eeeeeh, who IS that?” But, I really feel these are me. And I think I look beautiful. I don’t think that about myself mostly. And I want to thank for showing me that. Anyway, you’re the sh*t. And I will recommend to everyone. You know how to do it. Mwah. -N.H.

This gorgeous gal was such an incredible JOY to photograph. So at home in front of the camera, just light from within… and those eyes… i mean come ON! Breathtakingly beautiful. I mean now, really. She’s gonna knock the NYC theatre world off their feet.
