oh. my. goodness. Look. At. This. Face. LookAtThisFace. LOOK AT THIS FACE!!!!! How INCREDIBLY gorgeous is she??!?!??!?!? ohmygoodness. Oh Mah GOODNESS!!! She was as stunning in person as she is on camera. And, get this, she told me before the shoot that she was ‘unphotogenic’… ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? I told her she can no longer say that…

This was one of the most fun shoots ever. First off it was a gift to the dog’s owner (which always rocks.) Secondly, it was of a DOG!!!!! A DOG!!!!!! And SUCH an amazing one. PURE. LOVE. EVERYWHERE. This pup LOVED being in the car so we made sure to make this the most fun for her… And just loooooook at that face!!!

I’m often asked if I travel outside of NYC. The answer is YES! And was I ever glad that I do when I met this gorgeous family in New Jersey! They were so wonderful and vivacious AND they have dogs so they had me at ‘is it ok that we have TWO?????’ One could immediately see the joy and love and beauty in all of their faces (parents included) as soon as I walked in their door. It was such a terrific afternoon! (And who doesn’t love newborns in fuzzy hats?!?!?) Hooray!!!

I’ve been photographing this gorgeous little boy since he was a baby. Every year he becomes even more beautiful and fascinating and adorable and breathtakingly amazing. It’s a fantastic thing to get to witness and celebrate.

Below, a thank you from his family, reminded me of all the reasons I feel so extraordinarily fortunate to be a part of so many wonderful people’s lives. It truly is a ‘gift’ on every level.

There’s a story in The Arabian Nights where someone (Sympathy the Learned) is asked what is The Meaning of Life… and she replies “to cultivate enthusiasm.’ No truer words were said.

“Meredith. These images are truly, genuinely amazing. What an incredible eye and ease you have to be able to get into so many people’s heads, but most certainly in this case – our son’s. There are pictures here that make me laugh out loud, and that literally stop me in my tracks he’s so crushingly cute. His balance of being strong-boy and fair-haired-dearheart is completely evident throughout. I love him and I love these photographs. I was approached by the hilarious and incredibly talented Ms. Z, an extraordinary voice over artist, performer and soon to be PUBLISHED AUTHOR. It’s all incredibly exciting. And, of course, she needed a book jacket photo. But one that captured her spectacular personality as well as her overall awesomeness. She wanted to run the gamut of young to sassy to mature(ish) and, more than anything, FUN. All staying completely true to her ebullient self. And, even though she technically only needed one shot, she now has dozens of shots to use as headshots, publicity shots, website images, for the facebook and beyond. She just has to not change her haircolor this month.

NYC Wedding Party Celebration Photography!

These two were made for each other. Amazing and crazy talented in every way. And such wonderful people! They had a very intimate wedding celebration upstate but wanted their wedding reception to be a big blowout bash in NYC. Their reception was at Shun Lee West and it was awesome.
